Elise Albino is a visual artist, living and working in Vancouver, Canada. Through digital painting — a technique that combines original artwork and modern technology — Elise explores the core values and beliefs that motivate her to create, focusing on the importance of self-awareness and authenticity.
Elise has collaborated with a curated selection of design stores in Canada and online, notably Örling & Wu, Jackson Rowe, L’Atelier Home, Roden Gray and Garmentory.com. Also, her work has been featured in various publications, including Bungalow5, We and the Color and A Green Beauty to name a few.
Elise holds a Bachelor of Arts, with a Fine Arts Major (Art History) from the University of British Columbia, and continues her studies in Communication Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Her inclination towards a clean, pared back aesthetic was fostered while studying the iconic works of Ellsworth Kelly, Henry Matisse and Robert Motherwell; contemporary work by Clare Rojas and Kirra Jamison have also been influential.
