My work evolves to reflect the creative inspiration I find in fashion, architecture, music, technology and other cultural trends; I continue to innovate the B/H brand as a result. What started as a monochromatic aesthetic with a strong Scandinavian influence, is now expanding to include a sophisticated palette in the form of color-blocked, minimal abstracts and contours. The iconic works of Ellsworth Kelly, Henry Matisse and Robert Motherwell have been influential in this shift, as well as contemporary work by Clare Rojas and Kirra Jamison.
My overarching principle of paring away all unnecessary elements to reveal a purity in design, and my desire to create fresh, strong and balanced compositions are still at the core of my brand. At the same time, I'm continuously advancing the B/H look and feel through subtle refinements that reflect my latest creative inspiration and the culture of the time.
